Day 1

Arrival

Upon arrival in Yangon, you will be greeted by a guide of Trails of Myanmar. Sightseeing for the day in Yangon city includes many colonial-style buildings such as Yangon City Hall, ancient Sule Pagoda, independence Monument Park and Emanuel Baptist Church, small local morning vegetables market and end at century-old classic Strand Hotel.

After that, continue your sightseeing by enjoying shopping in Scott (Bogyoke) Market which is also one of the colonial monuments. [Reminder: Scott (Bogyoke) Market will be closed on Monday and public holidays]. Your day will be ended with the breathtaking sights by visiting round at the 98 meters tall Stupa which is one of the most wonders of the world, Shwedagon Pagoda. Lunch will be on your own account and dinner will be offered at one of the clean and fine local restaurants. Overnight stay at your hotel in Yangon.

Day 2

Yangon

After breakfast at Hotel, Here under is the suggested photo shoot of the day. 1. Before breakfast - Photoshoot at Fishmarket ( morning 5:30 am) 2. Circular train ride shoot after breakfast 3. Market in Danyingone 4. Kalaywa tawya monastery 5. Lethwei Gym where people are training local lethwei fight Overnight stay at your hotel in Yangon. Lunch will be on your own account and dinner will be offered at one of the clean and fine local restaurants.

Day 3

Heho/Inle Lake

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho, you will be transferred to Nyaung Shwe (the main gateway to Inle Lake, 30 km and around 1 hour drive). On the way, stop at Shwe Yan Pyae Monastery (Shan style built in 1886 of teak wood). Then take your private boat to Inle Lake via Nyaung Shwe Jetty and check in at your hotel. Inle Lake is an amazing running water lake between two mountain ranges at the sea level of 800 meter. Floating villages built their houses on stilt, leg rower fishing people, greenish floating farm, and unique fishing method by using conical bamboo basket will blend your wonderful experience on Inle Lake to be perfect

Day 4

Inle Lake/Indein

After breakfast at your hotel, start your day by a visit to Indein. It is located on the west bank of Inle Lake passing upstream on a creek to get there where thousands of Shan style stupas make the amazing tourist site. You will also get a chance to stroll around the bamboo forest and visit local villages to experience village life of tribal people. In the afternoon, visit to Local food industries village for the reportage shoot and can spend whole afternoon in the village for production of local food and whole village is filled up with local homemade food workshops.

Day 5

Khaung Dine Day Trip

After breakfast at your hotel, start your day by a visit to local market which is rotated every five days of the week (colorfully beautiful market of local tribes and their local goods). Visit will also make to Khaung Dine village where they have many local home industries and walk around in the village for reportage photos. Lunch will be on your own account and dinner will be offered at one of the clean and fine local restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel on Inle Lake.

Day 6

Inle Lake / Nyaung Shwe - Heho – Thandwe

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival to Thandwe airport, you need to wait for your onward flight to Sittwe, the capital and main port of Rakhine State. Upon arrival to Sittwe, proceed to the river jetty to take a private boat to Mrauk Oo (Normal boat with western type Toilet, with the speed of 4 and half hours with the tide, 6 hours against the tide.) the ancient former capital of Rakhine Kingdom along the Kiccapanadi River (or Kaladan River) and enjoy river life. Upon arrival to Mrauk Oo, transfer to your hotel.

Day 7

Mrauk

Today start with Sunrise shoots on a small mountain and return for breakfast at the hotel. Shoot of the day includes the Mrauk Oo market, Dukkanthein Monastery, Yadana Pon Stupa, the remaining of walls of Mrauk Oo Capital, gateways and the Shittaung Pagoda. You will go around in Mrauk Oo with a jeep car without air-conditioning. Enjoy sunset at a nearby hill (not too high). Lunch will be on your own account and dinner will be offered at one of the clean and fine local restaurants. Overnight stay in Mrauk Oo.

Day 8

Mrauk U-Chin

After breakfast, transfer from the Hotel (about 10 kilometers) by truck car to the jetty on Laymro River. Start your day trip to the Chin Villages by boat. The water level in Laymro River might be quite low and the journey might take longer than before. Normally it takes at least 3 hours by boat for the up steam river and down stream is over 2 hours The boats are often in bad condition, delays due to engine failures etc. can happen. At the Chin villages you can see people wearing their traditional dresses, observe the daily life and see Chin ladies who usually tattoo their faces traditionally. In afternoon return to Mrauk Oo.

Depending on time allowance, you may continue sightseeing river life along the river, Koethaung Pagoda and other stupa in Mrauk Oo in the late afternoon. Enjoy sunset over one of the hill to get panoramic view of Mrauk Oo ancient city (not too high). Lunch will be on your own account and dinner will be offered at one of the clean and fine local restaurant. Overnight stay in Mrauk Oo.

Day 9

Back to Yangon

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Sittwe by car ( 4 hours ) and continue by flights to Yangon.

Day 10

Departure

After breakfast at your hotel, take a leisure stroll in beautiful Kandawgyi Garden with Karaweik Hall (a floating barge with the mythical creature, two Hansa birds.) Sightseeing will be continued to 70 m long reclining Buddha image, Chauk Htut Gyi Pagoda which is situated under a shelter in a big compound of the monastery. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
